Casa S+V

The project Idea_Casa S+V

The functional organization of the apartment follows the original structure: a large ground floor space and the bedrooms upstairs.

The choice of materials and colors highlights the importance of the floor: a fishbone parquet.

At the ground floor, the different spaces are defined without any architectural element and keep a continuous interaction with the outside.

The kitchen is placed in the middle of the living and dining area, being a central focal point. It’s hidden behind vertical wooden barrier, which not only creates a scenic backdrop, with shelves lighted by LED strips, but also creates a small corridor to dialogue with both the living area, through a large marble top used as a snack table, and the dining area, having a window on top of the sink.

The house is composed by standalone functional areas all connected by continuous floor elements, different heights and light games as done by the stairs.

Its peculiarity is the backlit handrail which makes the environment more charming and relaxing.
